Little Grippers do grip!!!
How many times have you got the kids ready, got to the car, got to nursery, arrived at a party only to find out that you have lost a sock somewhere on-route?????? I have lost count.
All 3 of my boys have got really wide and chunky little feet so have found it near impossible to find socks which stay on their feet no matter how much wriggling and crawling they did.
I have found the answer!!!
Whilst reading my Prima Mother & Baby magazine a few months ago I saw an advert for Little Grippers.
They claimed to be the only sock to stay put. I was very skeptical but decided to give them a try.
Little Grippers is a British owned brand incorporating revolutionary new robotic technology which applies a 100% natural, totally hypoallergenic `stay on technology` to each sock.
The socks can be bought individually or in gift sets of 3 pairs which come in a range of gender specific or neutral colours, prices range from £3.50 to £12.
Each Little Grippers products is easily recognized due to their unique chameleon symbol woven into the sole of each sock.
My 3 pairs arrived in a really cute little box so you are able to give as a gift for baby shower or as a new baby present. I chose the plain grey and grey and white striped socks.
I was really intrigued to find out what the stay on technology was.
When you feel along the top edge elastic of the sock there is a shiny and sticky layer of adhesive silicone which gently adheres to your baby`s skin preventing them from rolling down and eventually falling off.
Amazingly they work!!!!
I haven`t lost a single sock since using them, they are so soft and thick and have the feel of a really high quality product.
So far they have washed and dried really well and still look like new.
Yes they are expensive, and some will say that you could buy and loose multiple pairs of socks for the cost of one of the Little Grippers, but I think they are brilliant and have recommended them to many of my mummy friends.

Canvas Design Review and Competition
I have been meaning to get an up-to-date photo of the 3 boys done so I could add a nice photo to our newly decorated lounge.
Thing is though with one thing and another I haven`t managed to get one, which was fine until the guys at Canvas Design contacted me and asked if I would like to review their services.
Arrhh...what a sticky situation!!!! I really would of liked to have a canvas of the boys done but the chosen image has to be of good quality to ensure a good product finish, at least 500kb, and I didn't have any of that quality.
I decided to have a print of my favourite photo from my wedding...weirdly not one of me and my new hubby but of my wedding dress!!!
I had dieted for so long to get into the bloody thing and the photo shows off my curves just right; sadly those curves have disappeared due to having 2 boys since.
The speed of how quickly the guys work at Canvas Design has been astonishing.
My order was placed on Sunday evening, the canvas was dispatched Tuesday and it is here by lunchtime Wednesday...amazing!!
The online ordering system is very simple and easy to navigate, the pricing is clear which I like as I have been researching a few sites and found some very confusing.
A text message was received to let me know when the estimated day of delivery was going to be plus a link to the delivery services tracking site so I could see where my canvas was on route.
On the day of delivery I received a second text letting me know the hour slot which i would get my delivery. A great additional service in my eyes as who has time to wait in for a delivery between 8am and 8pm???
My canvas was due to be delivered between 9.59 am and 10.59 am, and sure enough at 10.21 am a knock came at the door.
The canvas was really well protected by layers of cardboard packaging and bubble wrap.
To put it simply I love it!!!
The finish is very professional and feels very sturdy due to strong pine frame which has added supports in the corners to prevent warping.
For now the canvas is sitting on my radiator cover until I can get hubby to put it up in my new lounge.
Thanks to the guys at Canvas Design I can offer you the chance of winning your own personalised canvas in the size of your choice ready in time for Mothers Day.
Try your luck and enter the rafflecopter below, or if you can`t wait to see if you have won, order a canvas now and enter the code BLOG15 at the check out to receive 15% off your order xxxx

Valentines Day Could Kill Your Cat
Its Valentines Day tomorrow and there will be hundreds of thousands of bouquets given and received containing Lilies; did you know that Lilies are highly toxic to felines?
Cats can be poisoned by eating any part of the Lily plant or flower, all parts of the plant are considered to be toxic, even the pollen.
How are they poisoned????
Cats are poisoned by ingesting ANY part of the Lily flower.
Small cats and kittens are especially prone to being poisoned due to their inquisitiveness and the tendency to chew things in their environment.
Older cats are often poisoned by simply brushing against the pollen stems when sat on a mantelpiece or window ledge.
The pollen sits on their coat, they go to groom themselves and voila ingestion of pollen.
How does the Lily effect my cat?
The poisons main effect is on the kidneys and is absorbed into the system very quickly.
The first clinical sign of ingestion is typically severe vomiting, but others can include loss of appetite, excessive salivation (dribbling), twitching of muscles, depression or sudden collapse.
The biggest complication of Lily poisoning is irreversible kidney damage; alot of cases will unfortunately die due to this.
What should I do if I think my cat has ingested any part of the Lily?
If you think that your cat has either eaten or come into contact with a Lily get them to a Veterinary Surgeon ASAP, the quicker that treatment is started the better chance there is of reducing the severity of kidney damage.
To prevent your cat from rubbing the pollen onto their fur you can easily cut the stamen and pollen off of the flower but this does not prevent them from chewing or eating the plants.
Lets get this message out to all cat owners so we can try and minimize the effects of Valentines Day on cats!!!

Its out!!
After moaning for the last few years that he didn`t have any wobbly teeth, Alfie`s first tooth fell out last night!!
Bless him....he had be saying he wanted to be like all his friends as he was the last child in his class to loose one. But when it started to get wobbly he freaked out.
Last night whilst eating dinner he started crying saying that his tooth hurt and refused to eat anymore, I gave him an ice lolly thinking that that would be safe, but no, it fell out whilst sucking an ice lolly.
He was so excited this morning to see if the tooth fairy had been and was made up when he found she had left him £1.

Why do you blog?
Why do you blog??
What/who inspired you to start blogging??
Is blogging your passion or do you blog about your passion??
After being persuaded by my very good friend Emma Collins AKA the pr mummy I decided to take up blogging.
Previously I had never felt the need to blog or really got the whole idea of it, I thought to myself what makes my life so interesting that other people would want to read about it??
When I first started I did worry about how many people would read my blog, if any.
But now I am in the swing of things I have come to realise I don't care if nobody reads my blog.
My little blog has become an outlet and a life saver for me during my maternity leave.
During my 2 previous maternity breaks from work I realised who my true friends were and found being a mum quite lonely, in some ways I was dreading this maternity leave but this blog saved me!!!
It has kept my brain in some sort of working order and I know I don`t post blogs as often as many other bloggers out there but this is my baby and I`m enjoying doing it; having fun writing my families exploits and being lucky enough to have the chance to review some great products.
My next goal for the blog is to be able to run a competition and to maybe increase my readers by a little!!!!
So a big thank you to Emma for finally persuading me to start blogging xxxxx
Please leave a comment below telling me why you started blogging.
