When Do You Start Feeling Festive??

When do you put your Christmas decorations up??

Do you get in the festive spirit and put them up in November, or do you wait till nearer the day??

This Sunday 30th November, we plan to put our decorations and tree up. We have decided to put it up on the last day of November because if we wait till the following weekend it will be just over a week into December. Both the boys are so excited about Christmas this year, Jacob especially. I think that he is finally old enough to understand what is going on and has had a roughly written letter to Santa ready for weeks!!!!

The Wood household is planning to make a day of putting the tree and decorations up. Decorating the tree, making the obligatory miles and miles of paper chains, making cookies and doing Christmas crafts, all whilst listening to Christmas music. I can`t wait let alone the boys!!!!

I know some people think we are mad to be putting our decorations up early but that`s what we do, its our family tradition. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and do what they want; our family LOVE Christmas and intend to make it last!!
