The shop bought one was from hubby and got the kids to sign it, it was nice don't get me wrong but the other two were brilliant handmade creations.
I fell in love with them the moment I opened the envelope.
It melted my heart to think that they had spent time and effort making them at preschool and school, I will treasure them forever.
This is the first Mother`s Day that Jacob has been old enough to really get into doing anything by himself. To add to the cuteness Jacob at preschool had planted some bulbs and decorated a flower pot for me. They have timed them to start to grow perfectly, they started to shoot yesterday afternoon!!
I don`t think I am ever going to get bored of the creations they make me........Even with the spelling mistakes.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree, you can't beat handmade cards can you? My middle child gave me one in the school playground and it brought tears to my eyes!!
ReplyDeleteHandmade cards are the best! My twins made me two lovely ones and my step son and his wife too - she makes all her own cards. Very special.

ReplyDeleteOk I better write it again. This is the 1st year that I haven't had a handmade card made by Aaron at nursery, I better check his drawer at school in case it is there *sniffs*. I just have the Daddy shop bought one. LOVE yours x

ReplyDeleteI can't wait till my son can make Mother's (or Muther's!) Day cards, case then when I wake up on Mother's Day morning and realise I don't have one for my own mum I can get him to step in, instead this year she got a terrible one from the co-op! (ooops!)
